Auditing Firm Services

Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative, Inc. (GCEC) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to complete auditing services of the Cooperative’s financial systems and maintenance of records. The chosen firm will work under the sole direction of GCEC based on the services agreement executed.

All of the necessary documents for compiling your bid should be attached to this email. However, if there is any pertinent information needed to complete your bid, please respond directly to this email (by the given deadline for inquiries on page 2 of the bid request packet), and we will address them within the timeframe.

It is the sole responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that the proposal is received on time and in the correct fashion. A full timeline of events can be found on page 2 of the attached bid request. Please note that GCEC will not accept late submittals for any documentation. If your final proposal is not submitted by August 2, 2024 @ 12:00 CST, your proposal will be considered void and not accepted.

The first page of the PDF proposal shall indicate the project bid number indicated at the top of this project bid request along with your company name. The subject line of the e-mail transmitting the PDF should also indicate the project bid number along with your company name. Any requirements in the project bid request that cannot be met must be indicated in the proposal. Respondents must respond to the entire project bid request. If a price proposal form is provided in Microsoft Excel format, Respondent shall return its completed price proposal form in Microsoft Excel format, in addition to the remaining portions of its response to this project bid request in PDF format.

All proposals in response to this project bid must be received by GCEC, in accordance with the submission instructions provided above, on the due date also indicated. All contact for this project bid request must be channeled through myself, Hunter Bailey, and under no circumstances may a Respondent contact any other GCEC employee or agent concerning this bid request until after award unless written consent or instruction is provided to do so. Any such other contact may result in disqualification.

Proposals will be opened immediately following the deadline. Again, it is the sole responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that the proposal and other documents are received on time.
