Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for high school seniors in its service area: the chance to win one of 10 $1,000 scholarships!
To win, you must be present at our 75th Annual Members’ Meeting, which is Saturday, May 6, at our office headquarters in Wewahitchka. The drawing is random and will occur live during the program.
High school seniors graduating at the end of the 2022-2023 school year—including homeschooled students—whose parents or guardians are members of GCEC and who are attending a college, university or technical school for the fall 2023 semester—are eligible to enter the drawing.
Upon proof of enrollment in a college, university or technical school, scholarship checks will be made payable to the college, university or technical school for first-semester expenses.
To enter, eligible students must complete the GCEC 2023 Scholarship Application (PDF) and submit it to the co-op by Friday, March 31.
After applications are reviewed, further information will be mailed to all students who qualify for the drawing, giving instructions on their attendance at the annual meeting. This information will be distributed by Friday, April 14.
