In April, more than 1,500 electric cooperative leaders gathered at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C., to meet with lawmakers and agency officials and advocate for policies that help keep the lights on for 42 million Americans.
Among them were Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative CEO/General Manager John Bartley and Trustees Dwight Van Lierop and Pat Pitts. They joined fellow co-op representatives from across Florida and met with elected officials, including U.S. Sens. Rick Scott and Ashley Moody.
Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative is proud to be a voice for the communities we serve and members who depend on us every day.
