Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative was proud to support the Bay Building Industries Association’s 2026 Scholarship Home, the first stop on this year’s Parade of Homes.
GCEC donated the engineer labor fees for the home, helping bring the project to life. The cooperative also provided the floral arrangement for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebrating the completion of a home that will help fund scholarships for local students pursuing careers in the building industry.
Supporting projects like the BBIA Scholarship Home reflects GCEC’s commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. We are honored to partner with organizations that invest in education and help build a brighter future for our local communities.

GCEC was proud to participate in the Bay County Chamber’s Hurricane & Disaster Preparedness Expo.
Employees visited with community members to discuss preparing for hurricane season, share outage preparedness information and resources, and highlight the many ways members can stay informed before, during and after a storm.
We appreciate everyone who stopped by our booth and look forward to continuing to serve our members through every season.
