Flowers Retires From GCEC

After 46 years of service to Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative, Perry Flowers is retiring.

Perry started in the warehouse, where he worked for eight years. He was then a lineman for 14 years but spent the last 24 years of his career as the supervisor of service.

Perry says he most enjoyed being a lineman and helping consumers anytime there has been a need.

During his retirement years, Perry says he is looking forward to spending time with his “grand angels,” family and friends, and continuing to enjoy the life he has been blessed with.
