Your ballot for the 2026 Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative annual meeting should have arrived in your mailbox. The meeting is at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at the Honeyville Community Center, 240 Honeyville Park Drive in Wewahitchka.
GCEC members can participate in the democratic process by voting in 1 of the following ways:
In appreciation of your time, we credit $5 to your electric bill for participating. The cooperative will also work with the third party handling the election to randomly select 40 ballot PINs. Those members will receive $50 gifts card by mail.
Additionally, we select another 10 members at random to receive $100 electric bill credits. The grand prize is a 2011 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The election closes at 11:59 p.m. CDT April 22—10 days before the annual meeting— so please go online and vote before this time. If voting by mail, please allow enough time for sufficient mail processing.
I encourage you to take part in the meeting. Each member has a voice in the operations of GCEC, and your voice needs to be heard. If you have questions, please contact us. We are happy to help at any of our locations listed on the left -hand side of the page.
As always, it is a pleasure to serve you.
